Stem and log cutting optimisation

We have delivered log measuring and cutting optimisation systems for many veneer companies in Europe. The log is measured with OPMES 212 or OPMES 604 log scanner. The system optimises cutting pattern according to cutting matrix and shape of the log. The cutting line can work full automatic or the operator can choose desired cutting from optimisation result list.

Stem line cutting control

Stem optimisation differs little from log cutting optimisation because usually there are more possible cutting solutions and cutting matrixes has to be updated more often to follow current production. We recommend combination of 3D-scanner OPMES 604 and x-ray OPMES AX1 for that inner properties and faults of the stem can be taken into account.
